Paper Money issued by Poland - Honouring Madam Marie Curie - 01-02-1989


In 1989, prior to the devaluation of the polish Zloty, Poland issued a 20,000 Zloty banknote to honour Marie Curie.

Marie Curie (1867-1934) on 20 Zlotych 2011 Banknote from Poland.

"100th anniversary of the awarding of the Nobel Prize in chemistry to Marie Skłodowska-Curie To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the awarding of the Nobel Prize in chemistry to Marie Skłodowska-Curie the National Bank of Poland has issued a collector banknote of the face value of 20 złoty. The banknote will be put into circulation on 25 November 2011"
